Air India to start flights to Tel Aviv
National carrier Air India plans to start flights to Tel Aviv, the capital of Israel, in May.
“The chairman is currently in Israel, finalising the start of operations,” said a spokesman at the airline.
This is part of the state-run carrier’s expansion plans as it also adds to its fleet and improves its operational performance.
In the current financial year, the airline also plans to start flights to Washington, Birmingham and some Scandinavian countries.
