Advisor Sharma for expediting work on ongoing power projects
The Advisor to the Governor KK Sharma today directed officers to speed up the implementation of the various ongoing developmental projects in the power sector so that these are completed within the stipulated timeline.
Principal Secretary Finance Arun Kumar Mehta, Commissioner Secretary Power Hridesh Kumar, Development Commission Power, Chief Engineers and other concerned were present in the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, the Advisor directed the officers to provide weekly reports about the status of various ongoing projects of the department so that effective monitoring can be ensured. He said that the officers should also hold regular meetings in order to remove the bottlenecks if any so that the timelines set for the projects can be met and the project cost escalation and other related things can be effectively checked.
