Adani Green shares jump 4%. Here’s why

Shares of renewable energy producer Adani Green Energy on Wednesday rallied up to 3.6% to Rs 1,657.50 on BSE after promoters said they will infuse Rs 9,350 crore into the company through preferential issuance of warrants.

The funds shall be utilised for deleveraging and accelerated capital expenditure, the company said, adding that the warrants will be issued at Rs 1,480.75 each.
