Zirakpur-Shimla Highway: Repair potholes, report in 15 days, NHAI told

Deputy Commissioner Mahavir Kaushik today issued strict instructions to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to repair potholes on the Zirakpur-Shimla highway and sought an action-taken report on the matter within 15 days.

Kaushik was chairing a meeting of the District Road Safety Committee at the Mini-Secretariat. He told Chandigarh Tribune that they would make sure the NHAI complied with the order. In reply to Kaushik’s query, NHAI officials said patchwork on the highway was underway and would be completed in 10 days.
