Yamuna authority allots land to industries near Jewar airport amid lockdown

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has decided to attract industries to invest in land parcels near the upcoming Jewar airport amid lockdown. It has allotted two industrial and two institutional plots near the upcoming Jewar airport attracting investment of over R 60 crore.

“We have allotted two industrial plots in sector 33 of Yamuna expressway. At this time, we want to give a message to the industries that India is open to investment and UP is the best place for them. In coming days we will allot more plots,” said Shailendra Bhatia, additional chief executive officer of the Yamuna Authority.

According to Bhatia, Ocean carpet and furnishing India will invest R 11.36 crore and generate employment for 271 people of the area while integrated batteries India private limited will invest R 16.10 crore and generate 198 employments for locals.
