West Central Railway pioneer in modern digitization by providing facilities are available to railway passengers in the digital age.
West Central Railway has been a pioneer in using digital machines and new modern technology. In Indian Railways as well as in West Central Railway, railway passengers have to pay for catering, or book parcels, buy train tickets or book retiring rooms on their smart mobile phones and credit and debit cards.

For digital payment 416 POS machines are available at 196 railway stations of Madhya Pradesh for digital payment. In WCR, 73 percent PRS counter tickets and 27 percent internet tickets were booked in the year 2010-11 for rail reservation tickets,
