With 15 more grounded, Jet Airways has just 20 planes in operations now

MUMBAI: Cash-hit Jet AirwaysNSE -2.60 % continues to navigate in troubled skies despite the SBI-led consortium of lenders taking over its management control last month as it Tuesday grounded as many as 15 more planes due to lease rental defaults leaving just 20 planes in its operational fleet.

In another development, its pilots body, the National Aviators’ Guild has written to the aviation regulator DGCA & airline chief executive Vinay Dube, pressing for payment of three months of salary dues along with applicable interest.
