What electric two-wheeler makers need from Budget
The Indian EV market is experiencing notable expansion. Electric two-wheelers (E2W), in particular, are seeing rising sales – last month (December 2023), sales rose 17 per cent year-on-year. According to data from the Society of Manufacturers of Electric Vehicles (SMEV), E2Ws sales, which stood at 2,52,641 units in FY22, almost tripled to 7,28,054 units in FY23.
