Western Railway to expedite work on sixth line between Khar and Goregaon – Details

Western Railway (WR) is all set to fast-track work on the sixth line between Khar and Goregaon station that falls under the Mumbai Suburban section, the Indian Railways has informed.

Due to this, the Railways has decided to cancel some of the trains. However, in order to reduce the inconvenience to train passengers, the Western Railway has decided to restore some trains that were earlier announced as cancelled, the release added.

Number of trains restored

The Western Railway further informed that as many as 68 trains have been restored on October 30. With this, it has reduced the number of trains that have been cancelled, as against the previous announcement of 316.
