Western Railway earns Rs 1.2 crore from film shoots this year

MUMBAI: Western Railway (WR) has earned the highest-ever revenue of over Rs 1.2 crore from film shoots in a financial year.

WR’s chief public relations officer Sumit Thakur said, “This is the highest-ever revenue till the month of November. In the last financial year 2021-22, WR earned Rs 67 lakh, while in 2019-20, it was 1.05 crore and in 2018-19, 1.3 crore.”
