We’re in financial crisis, Andhra Pradesh power discoms tell High Court
Andhra Pradesh power distribution companies have informed the high court that they are unable to pay monthly bills of power plants including outstanding dues to renewable energy generators because of a “serious financial crisis”. The utilities have not paid power bills since January 1 this year.
The distribution companies requested the Andhra Pradesh High Court for one year’s time to comply with a March 15 order that directed them to repay dues to renewable energy generators in six weeks.
