VVIP chopper scandal: ED raids premises related to business tycoon
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday carried out raids at seven premises, in New Delhi and Gurgaon, allegedly related to Shravan Gupta, the erstwhile Director of reality firm Emaar MGF.
The raids are in connection with ED’s ongoing probe of money laundering into the Rs 3,600 crore VVIP chopper deal.
Gupta was summoned by ED in the year 2016 after his name had cropped up after it was found that the alleged middleman Guido Haschke was an independent director of his (Gupta) firm between September to December 2009.
