VVIP chopper scandal accused’s role comes to fore in fertiliser scam

Rajiv Saxena – a key accused in the Rs 3,600 crore VVIP chopper scandal – played a prominent role in allegedly laundering huge sums in a multi-crore fertilizer scandal, the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) has informed a local court.

ED said about Rs 685 crore were received in the bank accounts of Saxena, his group companies and fertilizer scam co-accused Amarendra Dhari Singh, a Rajya Sabha MP belonging to the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD).
