Vistara passengers can book two seats to maintain social distancing in aircraft
NEW DELHI: Passengers flying Vistara would now be able to book two seats so that the passenger can fly with one seat besides it empty, the airline said today. “Passengers flying with us can book two seats and fly with one seat empty. No extra will be charged for booking the one extra seat. We have informed the travel agents and the scheme will also be rolled out on our website,” said Vinod Kannan, chief commercial and strategy officer for Vistara.
This scheme will not just help airlines earn extra revenues but will also provide an opportunity to passengers, who want to fly with the adjacent seat vacant in the aircraft.
