View: Policy soon to boost solar manufacturing

Addition of renewable energy capacity will accelerate as required for our ambitious targets. These will be driven by technological and regulatory interventions, and by behavioural changes. There’s a fair chance more and more companies will opt for clean energy as responsible corporate citizens. Public policy will continue to be designed to increase demand and supply of renewable energy. Measures towards ease of doing business will continue.

We recognise that the challenges of today are different from when we started. There are new problems, some concerning state governments. We recognise that the ministry will have to be nimble and creative to address these issues.
