‘Use bins, don’t discard PPEs in corridors’: Kolkata airport urges passengers
The pandemic precautions have brought in a new headache for authorities at Kolkata airport — passengers littering on the premises by discarding their Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits at the aerobridge and in other areas.
On Saturday, in a Twitter appeal to passengers, the Kolkata airport requested that the PPEs be disposed only in the designated bins, placed at convenient locations across the airport.
“It is once again requested to our esteemed passengers that instead of discarding the PPEs in the aerobridge and open corridors, kindly use the designated bins for discarding PPEs and masks,” the tweet said.
