UP’s largest defence corridor in Aligarh soon

There is a good news for the district. Uttar Pradesh’s largest defense corridor will be in Aligarh. It is to be developed in about 400 hectares of area.

An investment of 400 crores is proposed for this. So far, 45.82 hectares of land has been allotted to 12 investors. The Center of Excellence, Defense Food Research and Manufacturing Plant, Defense Innovation Hub and Defense Administrators are to be set up at this Defense Industrial Park. This will provide employment to about 2500 people. The announcement of the biggest defence corridor in UP was made by Avnish Kumar Awasthi, CEO and Additional Chief Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Expressway Industrial Development Authority on monday.
