UPPCL to step up vigil to check power theft

With the objective of curbing power theft, the UP Power Corporation Limited has decided to step up vigil and conduct surprise raids in urban areas with high line losses.

UPPCL Chairman Devraj made a review of the progress of the drive to curb line losses and power theft. He directed the power engineers to conduct raids on power feeders showing high line losses.
