UPPCL likely to introduce OTS
Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited is likely to introduce a one time settlement scheme for liquidating the arrears.
The scheme is likely to be implemented from March 15 till the end of the current fiscal 2022-23 — March 31.
All categories of power consumers, including the urban and rural domestic and commercial category consumers with maximum connected load of 5 KW, can avail of the benefit of the scheme.
The OTS is introduced by the UPPCL almost every year in the last quarter of the financial year to enable the defaulters to clear the arrears. The OTS also helps the UPPCL to collect more revenue.
