UPCL awarded for excellence in cost management

The Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited (UPCL) has been honoured with a national award for excellence in cost management. The award was given at the 18th National Award for Excellence in Cost Management programme organized by ICMAI at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on Friday. In the ceremony UPCL’s finance officer and deputy general manager (finance) Amit Kansal, and DGM finance NK Kandpal received the award on behalf of the corporation.

ICMAI is a statutory body which organises national awards every year to promote innovative initiatives related to cost and financial management in manufacturing and services sector.
