UP Govt to set up 80 new power sub-stations

In order to augment power supply and infrastructure, the Uttar Pradesh Government has prepared an action plan for setting up 80 new power sub-stations of higher capacity to ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity. In addition, 2.67 crore pre-paid smart meters will be installed across the state.

Being the most populous state of the country, there is a continuous surge in the demand for electricity in Uttar Pradesh. To meet the growing demand and provide uninterrupted power supply, the Yogi Adityanath government is constantly making efforts towards augmenting the infrastructure.
