Ujjwala Baghel takes over as MD, CSPTC
Ujjwala Baghel on Wednesday took over as the Managing Director of the Chhattisgarh State Power Transmission Co (CSPTC).
According to an order issued by the Energy Department, Baghel will be the Managing Director till further orders.
As the Chhattisgarh government has decided to merge the Chhattisgarh State Power Holding Co with the CSPTC, she will be the first Managing Director of the company formed after the merger, an official communication said.
The Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board (CSEB) was reorganized by the state government on December 19, 2008.
Five companies were formed. Chhattisgarh State Power Holding Company, Power Generation Company, Power Transmission Company, Power Distribution Company and Power Trading Company.
