Uday ops begin for Discom Health

On January 5, 2016, Jharkhand became the first state to sign MoU with the power ministry to join Ujjwal Discom Assurance Yojna (UDAY), a central scheme for the revival of debt-stressed power distribution companies (discoms), which will offer the state a net benefit of Rs 5,300 crore.
