UDAY is not a failure, discussed new discom revival scheme with FinMin: Power minister RK Singh
New Delhi: Power minister R K Singh on Monday said the Centre’s Ujwal Discom Assurance Yojna ( Uday) was not a failure and reduced the average commercial losses to 18.79% in financial year 2019.
This is against 22% a year ago, he said at an event.
“Uday was not a failure,” he said adding the government targets to reduce the commercial losses to 15 % and will soon bring out a new scheme for the purpose.
