UDAAN Divas to be held at VSS Airport on Nov 22
The VSS Airport, Jharsuguda is scaling new heights of development day by day. Besides recording commercial growth, the airport has won the hearts of the people. Set up with the Regional Communication Scheme (RSS) “UDAAN”, the airport has become the best Udaan airport among 53 RSS airports of the country.
On November 22, the Udaan Divas will be observed at Jharsuguda in which Union Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia will attend the programme and all other 52 airports will join in virtual mode.
The Jharsuguda airport has provided service to the public during Covid-19 time also. The number of passenger has also increased proportionately. Before Covid time, during July, August and September 2019, 51,645 passengers have commuted through the airport.
