UAE’s renewable energy sector grows 400 per cent in 10 years

ABU DHABI: The United Arab Emirates has grown in renewable energy portfolio by over 400 per cent in the last ten years and well on track to double it again in the next ten years.

Its commitment to clean energy was on full display at the recently held Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, a global platform for accelerating the world’s sustainable development.

“To complement our clean energy portfolio, this year we will become the first country in the region to deliver safe, commercial and peaceful nuclear power.
