TWL-BHEL to mfg Vande Bharat sets
KOLKATA: The consortium of Titagarh Wagons and BHEL (TWL-BHEL) emerged as the second lowest bidder (L2) for “manufacturing-cum-maintenance of Vande Bharat trainsets”. TWL CMD Umesh Chowdhary said total order value for the consortium would be Rs 25,000 crore.
TWL has 55% stake in the consortium and the rest is with BHEL. The consortium would manufacture 80 Vande Bharat trainsets.
