Trial run of Howrah-Puri Vande Bharat today
A trial run of the superfast Vande Bharat Express would be conducted from Howrah to Puri and back on Friday. The train would start from Howrah at 6:10am and be back to Howrah at 8:30 pm with a two-minute stoppage at Kharagpur from 7:38 am to 7:40 am in the up direction.
The train would arrive at Puri at 12:35 pm and start from Puri at 1:50 pm towards Howrah.
The second trial run would be held on April 30 from Howrah to Bhadrak and back. The decision on the third trial run would be taken on May 1 after getting updates from the Railway Board regarding the inauguration of Vande Bharat Express rakes, said the authorities.
