Trial run for Bhopal metro will be 5 km from Subhash Nagar
The trial run of Bhopal Metro Rail in Bhopal will now be five kilometers from Subhash Nagar Depot to RKMP Railway Station. The reason for this is the delay in the construction of steel bridge near Rani Kamalapati railway station. Notably, the trial run of Metro was to be done between AIIMS Hospital in Saket Nagar and Subhash Nagar. Then its distance was fixed at 6.22 km.
Officials of MP Metro Rail Corporation Limited said that the distance from one pillar to another of the metro viaduct is between 30 to 34 meters. But the distance from platform number one to five near Rani Kamlapati railway station is 65 meters which cannot hold a long cement-concrete slab. That’s why steel bridge will be constructed here.
