Trending stocks: GAIL share price rises 2% in early session

NEW DELHI: Shares of GAIL (India) traded 2.31 per cent up in Thursday ‘s trade at 10:23AM (IST).

Around 3180501 shares changed hands on the counter. The stock opened at Rs 85.95 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 89.0 and Rs 84.45 , respectively, in the session so far.

The stock quoted a 52-week high of Rs 193.38 and a 52-week low of Rs 66.4 .

The company said that Pata petrochemical plant is under temporary shutdown from April 3 due to lack of storage facility for finished products. The situation, it said, arose due to reduction of demand as well as transport restrictions in country.
