Train flagged off by freedom fighters’ kin
On the auspicious occasion of 76th Independence Day, on August 15, the family members of the freedom fighter, Shakuntala Devi, wife Late Vishnu Prasad Singh and Usha Devi, wife Late Rameshwar Prasad flagged off train number 12873 Hatia – Anand Vihar Terminal Jharkhand Swarna Jayanti Express.
In the programme organized at Hatia station of Ranchi Railway Division (RRD), in the presence of Divisional Railway Manager, Pradeep Gupta, the families of freedom fighters were welcomed by the SERVO Ranchi President, Priyamvada Gupta by giving them saplings and were honoured by wearing shawls. The train was decorated beautifully under the Amrit Mahotsav program of Independence.
