Traffic on highway disrupted for few hours

The traffic was disrupted on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway for few hours after a landslide struck the road at Sherbibi Monday afternoon.

Hundreds of vehicles from both sides of the highway remained stranded on the road for hours.

However, the agencies concerned pressed men and machinery into service and cleared off the road whereupon the traffic was restored in the evening, a police official said.
