Traffic disrupted for 6 hrs in B’swar NH

The vehicular traffic on NH-60 was disrupted for about 6 hours from 7 am on Monday as the residents of Chasakhand demanding an all-weather road, picketed on the NH near the Fuladi Square.

As a result, hundreds of vehicles were stranded midway under scorching heat causing several inconveniences to the commuters as well as drivers. The picketing was lifted after the Sub Collector assured them of addressing their issues. District Collector K Sudarshan Chakravarthy said that he would hold talks with the land owners of the land on which the road was constructed, said Premaranjan Patra who led the agitation.
