Trade unions oppose BCCL disinvestment plan

The move of the BCCL management for disinvesting its 25 percent share has been opposed by different trade unions.

Dhanbad Colliery Karamchari Sangh affiliated to the RSS backed Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh ( BMS) has vehemently opposed the move and has decided to hold massive demonstration outside the company headquarters on June 3.

Senior union leader Ramdhari while announcing stir programme said ,”Our union would be holding gate and pit meetings on May 31 and June 1 and on June 3 would hold demonstration at headquarters to oppose the decision taken by the board of directors of BCCL”.

It’s worth mentioning that BCCLboard in its 438th meeting has taken a decision of disinvestment 25% of company’s shares .
