TPDDL receives 90% payments from digital mode

NEW DELHI: Tata Power Delhi Distribution that supplies electricity to north and north-west Delhi has said it has received more than 90% of its bill payments from digital modes during lockdown.

The company with 7 million consumers said prior to lockdown about 65% of consumers were making payments using digital modes, an official statement said adding the months of April and May saw zero cash bill payments.
