Towards better operational synergies: Tata Sons may form holding company for Air India bid

Tata Sons is likely to create a holding company for its aviation business that will bid for Air India and also bring under its wing the low-cost airline, AirAsia India, a subsidiary of the group. This holding company is expected to put in a financial bid for the national carrier by September 15, officials close to the development said.
