Torrent Power buys Wind Two Renergy for Rs 32.5 crore
AHMEDABAD: Torrent Power Limited on Saturday announced in its regulatory filing that it has acquired 100% stake in Wind Two Renergy Private Limited (WTRPL) for Rs 32.51 crore from Inox Green Energy Services.
WTRPL has 50MW power generation capacity at its project at Dayapar village in Lakhpat taluka in Kutch district of Gujarat and had a turnover of Rs 35.01 crore in 2021-22.
The project comprises of 25 Wind Turbine Generators of lnox with an individual capacity of 2 MW each. The electricity generated from the Project is supplied under a 25 years Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with PTC India Limited.
