Ticket sales on Western, Central Railway close to 3L on 3rd day

MUMBAI: The sale of single and return journey daily tickets on both Western and Central Railway almost touched 3 lakh on Tuesday.
The total sale was 2.96 lakh, officials said.A Central Railway official said that 1,81,250 tickets were sold on Tuesday which was 16,000 more tickets sold than the previous day.
An official said there was a demand for season passes, with 14,931 season tickets issued.
