And a lot of that research and engineering refinement is increasingly being done out of India by aerospace giants like Boeing, Airbus and Raytheon Technologies.

The engineering centre has been expanding rapidly ever since it was established in the country in 2009. And later this year, it will open one of its largest engineering centres outside the US in Bengaluru – a $200 million state-of-the-art engineering and technology campus.
