Hyderabad: The state government has decided to set up an anti-power theft police station, the first ever, which will function from Siddipet. The finance department issued orders according sanction to set up the police station on Friday.
According to the orders, the police station will be headed by an inspector of police (civil) as station house officer and he will report to the chairman and managing director of the Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TSSPDCL). The DGP will depute the inspector to the power utility.
