Tata’s profile and M&A experts help Air India to win a cost effective deal

Air India is considering going with the purchase option for the wide body aircraft component of its record breaking aircraft order, instead of the more popular leasing option, said people familiar with the matter. These people said the credit worthiness of parent firm Tata Son will allow the airlines to raise funds at lower rates of capital for financing the aircraft purchase.
