Tata shareholding in Delhi International Airport: GMR reworks proposal, restricts stake to 10%

GMR Group has reworked its proposed Rs 8,000-crore investment into its airport business by restricting Tata Sons’ effective shareholding in Delhi International Airport (DIAL) to 10%.

State-owned Airports Authority of India (AAI) had raised objections to the proposed investment by Tata Group in GMR Airports on grounds that it violates the operation, management and development agreement (OMDA) signed in 2006.
