Tata Power’s subsidiary receives LoA from SECI for hybrid power project in Karnataka

Tata Power’s fully-owned subsidiary, TP Saurya Limited (TPSL) received a ‘Letter of Award’ (LoA) from Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for establishing a 600 MW hybrid power project in Karnataka, it informed the exchanges on Wednesday.

The letter was awarded through tariff-based competitive bidding followed by an e-Reverse auction. The total renewables capacity of Tata Power NSE 0.41 %, with this win, has reached approximately 5,524 MW, with an installed capacity of 3,634 MW and 1,890 MW under various stages of implementation, the company said.
