Tata Power to invest Rs 1,572 crore in Bhutan’s Dorjilung project

Tata Power Company Ltd on Friday said it has signed commercial pacts with Druk Green Power Corporation Ltd (DGPC) to build the 1,125 MW Dorjilung project in the Himalayan nation.
The project will be implemented through a special purpose vehicle (SPV), owned 60% by DGPC and the remainder by Tata Power.
Tata Power will be investing about ₹1,572 crore in tranches, as per the agreed structure.
