Tata Power, TN Govt Open Twin Solar Skill Centres to Power Renewable-Ready Workforce
Chennai: Tamil Nadu took another step towards strengthening its renewable energy ecosystem with the inauguration of two Solar Skill Centres of Excellence (SCoE) at Pettai (Tirunelveli) and Sattur (Virudhunagar).
Established under a Public–Private Partnership (PPP) between the Directorate of Employment & Training (DET), Government of Tamil Nadu, and Tata Power Skill Development Institute (TPSDI), Tata Power’s skilling arm, the centres aim to create a steady pipeline of certified professionals for the state’s fast-expanding clean energy sector.
