Tata Power shares up 0.51% as Sensex rises

Shares of Tata Power NSE -0.20 % Company Ltd. gained 0.51 per cent to Rs 98.5 in Thursday’s session as of 10:31AM (IST) even as the equity benchmark Sensex traded 159.84 points higher at 49893.68.

Earlier in the day, the stock witnessed a gap up start to the session. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 114.95 and a 52-week low of Rs 27.0 on NSE. Around 1452732 shares changed hands on the counter till 10:31AM (IST).
