Tata Motors wins tender for 1,500 electric buses from DTC

Tata Motors NSE 0.01 % on Friday said that it has received an order of 1,500 electric buses from Delhi Transport Corporation NSE -1.28 % (DTC) as part of a larger tender by Convergence Energy Services Limited (CESL).

As per the agreement, Tata Motors will supply, operate and maintain these buses for 12 years. Till date, the company has supplied over 650 electric buses across multiple cities in India.
