Tata Group appoints Ilker Ayci as the CEO & MD of Air India
Tata Sons today announced the appointment of Ilker Ayci as the first Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director of Air India after the Tatas took over the airline. He will assume his responsibilities on or before 1st April 2022.
“The Air India board met this afternoon to consider the candidature of Ilker Ayci. N Chandrasekaran, Chairman of Tata Sons, was a special invitee to this board meeting. The board after due deliberations approved the appointment of Ilker Ayci as the CEO & MD of Air India. This appointment is subject to requisite regulatory approvals,” said a release from the Tata Group.
