Tariffs up 10 times: Adani hikes Lucknow airport charges
The Adani Group, which won bids to operate six government airports, has raised charges by as high as ten times at Lucknow airport. Charges like ‘turnaround charges’ at the airport have been raised drastically for private jets and international flights.
Aviation circles expect an increase in charges at its other five airports – Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Mangalore and Thiruvananthapuram – too. Ahmedabad-based Adani Group, had won bids to operate and manage six airports for 50 years in 2019.
