T3-T1 underpass link of Delhi airport to stay shut for 3 weeks

NEW DELHI: Traffic movement on the carriageway connecting Terminal 3 (T-3) to Terminal 1 (T-1) of Indira Gandhi International Airport, through the underpass, will remain suspended for three weeks from Saturday. Delhi airport operator has advised passengers to plan their travel accordingly.

The work on a flyover is under way as part of phase 3A expansion project and hence, the traffic movement on one side of the carriageway will be prohibited for three weeks, airport sources said.

According to airport sources, the flyover which is under construction will connect T-3 with NH-8. “Those who are planning to travel from T-3 to T-1 are advised to take National Highway (NH-48 or old NH-8) to reach T-1 through the Radisson roundabout.
